As part of its digital transformation strategy, the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) has introduced new transmission methods for AIFM reporting, effective 31 January 2024. These changes aim to streamline regulatory submissions and improve data security for Alternative Investment Fund Managers (AIFMs).

What’s Changing?
From 31 January 2024, AIFMs can submit their reports via a new eDesk procedure, offering a more direct and secure communication channel with the CSSF.
This enhancement builds on the API solution launched on 2 November 2023, which enables professionals to exchange data directly with the CSSF – bypassing external transmission channels.

Transition Timeline
While the new channels are now available, the CSSF has confirmed that external transmission channels will remain operational until 30 June 2024. This gives firms a transition window to adapt their systems and processes.
