What do you get when you mix four brave colleagues, 18 miles of rugged terrain, 5,000+ metres of climbing, and a 5am start?
A legendary day in the Mourne Mountains, and a whole lot of sore legs.
On Saturday 13th September, our Belfast dream team – Andrea Mulligan, Jai Warnock, Brent Hardy, and Trevor Dempster – laced up their boots, packed their snacks, and joined Team Action Cancer for the epic 7 Peaks Challenge.
From Sunrise to Summit (and Back Again)
The day kicked off at the crack of dawn (literally – 5am) and wrapped up around 6pm, after 13 hours of hiking, climbing, laughing, and probably questioning life choices somewhere around peak number five.
The route? A greatest-hits tour of the Mournes’ finest:
Slieve Lamagan, Slieve Meelbeg, Slieve Meelmore, Slieve Bearnagh, Slieve Commedagh, Slieve Binnian, and the mighty Slieve Donard. (Yes, they really did all seven. In one day. Heroes.)
Powered by Grit, Banter, and a Great Cause
What kept them going?
- A bit of stubbornness
 - A lot of snacks
 - And the knowledge that every step was raising funds for Action Cancer’s life-saving services across Northern Ireland.

From early detection to support services, Action Cancer makes a real difference – and our team was proud to play a part in that mission.
The Aftermath: Muddy Boots, Big Smiles
They came, they climbed, they conquered – and they’ve got the photos (and blisters) to prove it. We couldn’t be prouder of their determination, team spirit, and commitment to giving back.

There’s still time to donate and help the team smash their fundraising target:

Huge congratulations to Andrea, Jai, Brent, and Trevor – you’ve officially earned your mountain goat badges.
