Our fundraising efforts continued yesterday in glorious sunshine when our team of volunteers participated in the Belfast Marathon. After much deliberation in the office we named our team “Fund RunNURS” and when the team was finalised they embarked on months of extensive training – well some of them did!!
Big thanks to Ellie McConnell, Rosie McKerr, David Watson, Darryn Mallon and Aidan Lavery for putting their bodies on the line for charity!! Also in the picture is our colleague James Stewart who completed the Marathon all by himself. Further thanks to Darryn Mallon for ensuring our team was entered for the event and for his fundraising efforts.
We finished with a respectable time which was not last and raised over £700 for Mencap so thanks to everyone who donated.
