Our UCITS IV and AIFMD Derivatives and Risk Management training course was held in London on the 1st March. Like the UCITS Investment and Borrowing Rules course there was strong demand for places amongst Funds-Axis clients and UK asset managers. We also had several people fly in from Europe to attend the training. Overall 19 people attended the course.
Our Managing Director Darren Burrows delivered this course given his in-depth knowledge of the UCITS and AIFMD regulations. Content delivered over the day included UCITS derivative rules, the different types of exposure between UCITS and AIFMD, global exposure and counterparty exposure.
We received extremely positive feedback on the course particularly on the topics covered, the use of practical examples and Darren’s knowledge of UCITS and AIFMD. Attendees also stated that they would highly recommend the course to colleagues and were asking when the course will be held again.
